AMERICAN APART
American Apart is a photographic study of American systems in a state of limbo.
Made across highways, service roads, and peripheral landscapes, the work observes infrastructures that continue to function even as their original purpose erodes. The photographs are quiet and cumulative, shaped by repetition, interval, and what persists without resolution.
American Apart was made through repeated movement across working landscapes—roadsides, service corridors, and peripheral ground—across diverse regions of the United States. The work follows systems designed to endure, even as their purpose thins. Photographs were made without urgency, allowing repetition, maintenance, and delay to shape the sequence.
